Therapy for Women

Are you someone who has been curious about therapy for awhile now? Been consistently thinking, “I wonder if I should go” or “What benefit does counseling really have”? Experiencing the same symptoms or struggles regularly and not sure if you’re connecting to the life you are living currently?

Some days this may sound like you, other days less so, but the missing piece may be having a safe, nonjudgemental place to do the work.

Going to therapy is like going to the gym or getting a haircut. We normalize acts of maintaining our physical health but less so our mental health. Going to therapy may shift depending on your life circumstances and unique factors. Here are examples of signs you may benefit from therapy: Feeling low, uninterested, isolated, or bored with daily life, career, or relationships, Struggling with worries, fears, racing thoughts, or uncomfortable thoughts which lead to increased stress, problematic coping like binge eating, drinking, or other substance use. Finding less connection to your self, to family and friends, or increased uncertainty/confidence in your role (mother, sister, friend, partner, etc.). Experiencing a change with career, relationships, family, or any other area of life.

Life changes, we change, and change can be equally as rewarding as it can be difficult.

You deserve to live a life you connect to.
